Bear is our big, bouncy bundle of joy looking for his forever home!
He came into rescue due to his previous owner's ill health, and now he's ready to share his affectionate nature with a loving family.

Bear is incredibly friendly and loves to spend time with his carers. He enjoys his walks and playtime, and while he generally walks well on a lead, he can be very strong should he spot a cat - he’s undergone successful muzzle training and wears his muzzle comfortably when out and about to protect any he may see.

Bear is a quick learner but will benefit from additional basic training. He can get over excited and might jump up for attention, so consistent training will help him channel his energy positively.

Bear could potentially live with a medium to large female dog, pending successful introductions at the sanctuary (he seems to prefer females over males)

Bear is kennel clean, indicating that he should adapt well to housetraining in a home. He is also non destructive.

Bear would thrive in a home with a secure garden featuring 6-foot boundaries. This will keep him safe and happy as he enjoys exploring his surroundings.
Once settled, Bear loves cuddles and fuss, making him the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal friend.
He will need some time to adjust, but leaving hours can be gradually introduced at a pace that Bear is comfortable with.

If you’re ready to welcome this gentle giant into your heart and home, Bear can’t wait to meet you!
