Enrichment for our animals

We are always looking for ways to improve our animals welfare whilst they are with us.

One of the ways in rescue we must work on is enrichment.

You can help us provide ample enrichment for the animals within our care!

Cattery-

One of the areas we are keen to improve our, the catios. Below is a list of what we would like each catio to contain-

Cat safe sensory plants (Catnip, Cat mint, Lemon Balm, Wheatgrass etc)
Chairs (For added height and for them to lounge on... plus volunteers when spending time with the cats)
Shelves for them to climb on
Hanging baskets to laze in (Must be cat safe baskets)
Hides/Huts
Tunnels (Waterproof, ideally plastic for easy cleaning)
Dig boxes

Dog Day Runs-

Sand pits
Sand (Animal Friendly)
Large plastic tunnels for them to play with/relax in etc
Paddling pools
Play houses to use as shelter
Sensory plants (Rosemary, Lavender, Basil, Chamonaile, Clary Sage, Marigolds, Thyme, Wheatgrass, Valerian)
Hard wearing toys
Grass beds (New day runs)
