Frank is our 7 year old, super sized labrador cross that has come into our care through no fault of his own. In the short time he has been with us, he has proved to be an all round super lad.

Frank can initially be a little wary of new people (especially males) so introductions will need to be slow paced and not rushed. Once he is comfortable with you, he will choose to “flop” beside you, and instigate some fuss and cuddles from his favourite people!

Frank has come into us at a much heavier weight than he should be, so despite his love for food, his new owner will need to be dedicated in getting him down to a healthy weight range. This will also involve 2 monthly weight checks at the sanctuary to continue once he has been rehomed.

Frank knows his basic commands and walks well on a lead with the additional aid of a head collar which he is more than comfortable wearing. He is non reactive and greets fellow dogs respectfully. Frank is used to sharing his living area with another well matched doggy pal so has the potential of being rehomed to live with another dog, pending a number of successful meets at the sanctuary.

In his previous home, Frank was known to be housetrained and non destructive. He particularly enjoys a game of tug or a simple walk and opportunity to sniff out new environments.
