Minnie is a beautiful and loving 4-year-old Vizsla cross looking for her forever home. Although she has been returned to our care through no fault of her own, Minnie is now ready to find the perfect family to share her love and loyalty with.

Minnie would thrive in a home with children aged 14 and older, as her size and energetic nature can be overwhelming for younger kids. She also prefers to be the only pet in the household, though she could enjoy social lead walks and playdates with dogs of similar temperaments.

A calm, quiet home where Minnie can relax and settle in is what she’s hoping for. Minnie is a true outdoor lover. She enjoys soaking up the sunshine and would greatly benefit from a private, secure garden with at least 6 ft boundaries where she can safely run and play. Her walks are one of her favourite activities, and she walks well on the lead, engaging fully with her surroundings. Minnie is non-reactive to other dogs during walks, making her a good candidate for social lead walks with other dogs who have a similar energy level.

While Minnie is a confident and affectionate dog at heart, she can sometimes feel overwhelmed, especially in unfamiliar environments. She’s looking for an owner who is committed to helping her build her confidence using positive reward-based training.

With the right guidance and patience, Minnie will continue to flourish into a well-adjusted, happy companion. Minnie is very loving and enjoys the company of her human caregivers. She’ll need minimal leaving hours initially while she settles into her new home, as she thrives on companionship. Minnie has previously lived in a home and has proven to be non-destructive, house-trained, and comfortable travelling in the car.

If you think Minnie could be a great fit for your family, please get in touch! She’s ready to find the loving, secure home she deserves, and in return, she’ll offer you all the love and loyalty she has to give.
