Mimi The Lost Bengal Cat
1 January 2022 | Admin
Mimi a Bengal cat who lives with her owners Lewis and Gemma, recently went missing after moving to the Hockering area. They had been in Hocking for 3 weeks before Mimi an indoor only cat bolted out the door when Gemma was bringing in their food shopping. Mimi went missing on 9th November, Lewis and Gemma were frantic with worry and used Sniffer dogs and Mediums to try to track Mimi, it is believed she had gone over the fields around 700 meters away. An intense media campaign was started via Facebook, EDP etc with over 400 shares and the whole neighbourhood were searching for Mimi. A £1,000 reward was offered for her safe return. On 16th November Lewis and Gemma picked up a cat trap from PACT and left where Mimi was believed to be hiding out. At 3 am the following morning a neighbour knocked to say that Mimi was in the cat trap. What a relief for her owners and all that were eagerly following the story! The neighbour did not want the reward so Lewis and Gemma have donated to PACT as they are very grateful for our assistance.
We were donated a £1,000 from Lewis Charles Richardson and Gemma Gray.
Its when the worst happens you truly look to your community and what a wonderful community we do have!
We are over the moon that Mimi is back home and safe where she belongs!
