Meet Teddy, a loveable 1 year old Staffy cross who is full of energy and potential. Teddy came into our care when his previous owner, due to their own health condition, realised they couldn’t meet his needs.

He’s a playful and affectionate young dog with the potential to be an amazing companion for the right person. Teddy is very much learning the ropes and requires a dedicated owner who can invest time, consistency and patience to help him grow into the best version of himself. His new owner will need to continue his work with loose lead walk training and practising his basic commands.

Teddy thrives on confidence building and consistent guidance. He’s still very much a puppy at heart with playful behaviours such as mouthing when overstimulated, but with the right guidance, we are sure he will flourish.

A people oriented dog, Teddy is friendly and affectionate, immediately warming up to new faces after a formal introduction.

He has previously lived comfortably in a home with several cats and could potentially share his home with a dog savvy cat. He would, however, be best suited to a home without children under the age of 14 as he can be seen as being quite boisterous.

A secure, private garden with 6 foot boundaries will be essential for Teddy to burn some energy, Teddy is a playful dog who loves his toys and human interaction, his favourite being a game of ball with his favourite carer!
